Program Overview
Next Level Mixing & Mastering

The Next Level Sound Online Mixing and Mastering Courses provide you with a proven system. It is the world’s most advanced professional mixing and mastering system. It will allow you to produce mixes and masters that not only compete, but beat other commercially available tracks. Sound too much of a bold claim? You only have to listen to our students’ work to realise it isn’t too much of a bold claim at all. Through working alongside your mentor, Multi-platinum, Award-Winning Audio Engineer Daniel Wyatt, they have gone from struggling to finish to finishing first. The best part is that you can do that, too.

Creating a commercial quality track that would play easily alongside your favourite artists is about lots of little details. There is no magic bullet (plugin or trick), but there is a systematic approach that you will learn at Next Level Sound that becomes your secret recipe for success.

The program is for you if:
  • You feel your mixes don't compete with others that you listen to
  • You get 'lost' in a mix and find yourself making it worse, not better
  • You have all the plugins, but they just don’t work for you
  • You have followed other tutorials, but something is missing
  • You don’t know how to use reverb and effects, so just guess!
  • You struggle to deal with vocals in a track
  • You don’t know when to use ‘analog-modeled’ or digital tools
  • You don’t understand multiband or mid-side processing
  • You are yet to harness parallel processing
  • You don’t know how to use tape compression
  • You want to be part of a community of talented producers
  • You want your tracks to ‘stack up’ on Beatport/Spotify/Soundcloud etc.
  • You want your track ready for a major label

Your Mentor
Your mentor for the course (Daniel Wyatt) will walk you through every step needed to produce real world expensive studio results using your ‘in the box’ DAW’s and Plugins. Danny started out with the real hardware and now uses software emulations exclusively to achieve all of the sound, without the huge cost and unreliability of hardware counterparts.

Daniel Wyatt is multi-platinum, Grammy and Emmy nominated audio engineer with credits from Ultra Records to Old Dirty Bastard to Norah Jones, and one of the most influential mixing and mastering instructors and course designers. In the last decade he taught over 1,000 producers and audio engineers how to mix and master modern styles of music from deep house, minimal techno, and trance to hip hop, trap, dubstep, and drum’n’bass. Many of his students have had their tracks hit the iTunes and Beatport charts.

Before I started the course I thought I knew already a lot of things over all those years I’ve been doing productions. But already after lesson 1 I realised I was doing the same “mistakes” everyone does. So I’m very happy that I followed these courses because it gave me a workflow which I can stick too and which make my production, mixing and mastering a lot quicker and much more efficient!

Finally a course that really shows the techniques to get that professional warm and fat sound I was aiming for. Danny’s cool and encouraging attitude has helped me to transform my music and take it to a totally different level. The best part for me was to mix a track before class and then see Danny mix the exact same track. This plus the possibility to ask questions during the course and for 1 hour per week during office hours, made mixing foundations a priceless experience.

I have been studying with Daniel Wyatt and using his techniques now for several years. I was really excited when Hardwell played one of my early tracks — and now Tiesto!

Danny keeps me up-to-date with all of his new techniques and workflows — and it’s made all of the difference in my sound
